Vanguard Ranger - A Story from The Quiet War

Duty. Brotherhood. Sacrifice. For Retired U.S. Army Ranger Jason Yates, these aren't just words—they're a way of life.

First Sergeant Jason Yates was the vanguard, the tip of the spear—leading the way was in his blood. Retirement changed nothing. Some oaths never die. When a fallen Canadian assaulter had no one else, Jason answered the call. Different nations, the same creed—leave no man behind.

Jason Yates was forged in the crucible of war. A Ranger with the U.S. Army’s elite 75th Ranger Regiment’s Regimental Reconnaissance Company, he built a career on deep reconnaissance, high-risk operations, and doing what others couldn’t—or wouldn’t. He spent years operating in the world’s most dangerous conflict zones, but one mission, buried deep in his past, set into motion events that would reshape the future of global warfare.

Now retired and struggling with a loss of purpose, Yates takes on one final mission—one that begins at a hospital bedside but soon pulls him back into the shadows. As he recounts the defining moments of his career, a long-buried truth begins to emerge. What he thought was just another kill turned out to be the spark that ignited The Quiet War.

A gripping blend of military action, espionage, and personal reckoning, Vanguard Ranger reveals the untold past of one of The Quiet War’s most formidable operators and the moment history was set on a collision course with chaos. Perfect for fans of gritty, high-stakes special operations thrillers.
